Imagination is the most important part of life, that and humor.  I like people who can make me laugh more than I like people who have mastered the art of “looking pretty.”

The thing is, a person’s life is like a TV show.  I am the star of The Amanda Show. And the Amanda Show is NOT an ensemble drama.  Guests come and go, but I am the regular.  It comes down to me and me alone.  If someone can’t manage their own show, if their ratings are falling, it is sad, but that is their problem.  Ultimately, every life has one writer, and a whole lot of interns.
