more information, click

Message Board
Online forums, or "message boards," are a great way to promote
The Birthday Massacre. Go to your favorite bands website and join their
message board. From there, you can:
1. Add TBM to your profile
2. Put a link to http://thebirthdaymassacre.com in your signature.
3. Use a TBM icon.
4. Put a TBM banner in your signature.
5. Post a thread about TBM in the music discussion section.
Your Person Webpage
Use your site to link to TBM's official site. You can make a simple HTML
link, a button, or a banner! You can get buttons
and banners from us.
Your Band's Website *
Support from other bands is also welcome. Use your band's site to link
to TBM's official site. Again, you can make a simple HTML link, a button,
or a banner! You can get buttons and banners from us. Also, if your band
has a myspace, add The Birthday Massacre to your band's friends.
Make your own TBM Fan site *
Fan sites are not only a great way to show your support for the band,
but to help spread the word among friends. Feel free to steal some of
our pictures for your site - and NO,
you don't have to link back to us. We're just here to help.
MySpace
No matter what you're promoting, Myspace.com
is one of your greatest outlets. If you haven't heard of the site before,
it's a global network of profiles. If you don't have an account, your
first step is to sign up, and then to search out and add all your friends
to your page. After you've done that, make sure you add The
Birthday Massacre. From there, you can put a banner
or flyer into your page, post a flyer on your
friends' comments section, and post a bulletin including a link and a
flyer.
Blog / LiveJournal
Outside of outfitting your blog profile with TBM banners,
pictures, or buttons,
you can talk about TBM in the journal itself. Also, add The Birthday Massacre
to your friends. You can find all of their LiveJournal pages here. Don't
have an online journal? Get a DeadJournal or LiveJournal.
Instant Messaging
Put TBM in your AOL, AIM, Yahoo, or MSN profile! Also, sport a TBM buddy
icon. Check out the largest Birthday Massacre icon online, right here.
There's a few ways.
Be creative! If online promotion is really your thing, you might want
to check out the [media] section too.
Don't frekkin' Spam.
Spam has never helped anyone. Ever. Do whatever you can to spread the
word, but make sure you don't portray the band in a negative light by
being annoying. We're not trying to stuff TBM down people's throats; we're
trying to guide them to TBM. Madonna didn't have email. The Cure got famous
without blasting their name a into a chat room a hundred times. You get
the idea.
